Finding K–12 tutoring in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn
Get tutoring help for your child →Bay Ridge families have several ways to find tutoring: private tutors, learning centers, school-based help and online services. This guide covers what to weigh locally and how to reach the learning center Tutoring Path works with in the neighborhood.
What to weigh in the neighborhood
- Travel after school. A center a short walk or one bus ride from school or home is far easier to keep up for months.
- Schedule. After-school slots fill first; ask which times are actually open.
- Range of subjects. One place that covers math, reading and test prep is simpler as needs change.
- Test prep for local exams. Many Brooklyn families plan for high school entrance exams as well as the SAT or ACT.
