Privacy policy

Effective October 17, 2026

Tutoring Path (tutoringpath.com) helps parents and guardians find tutoring for K–12 children. Families in the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn, New York are referred to Huntington Learning Center of Bay Ridge, which we work with. This policy explains what we collect when you use our questionnaire, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who this site is for

The questionnaire is for parents and guardians, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Please do not send your child’s name, school records, diagnoses, disability information or other sensitive details through the form.

What we collect

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

How we use it

When we share your contact details

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. Outside the Bay Ridge area, we will ask your permission before giving your contact details to any named tutoring provider.

We use a few service providers to run the site, who handle your information only on our behalf: Netlify (website hosting), Supabase (secure database storage) and Resend (sending email). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry details for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, then delete them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Spam-prevention data is kept for no more than a few days.

Your choices

Email help@tutoringpath.com and we will respond within 30 days. Families working with the Bay Ridge center can also call (718) 491-0900.

Security

Information is sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a database that is not publicly accessible. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to the people who need it to respond to you.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
